Today I will be showing y'all how to create an image with one part of the image and the rest in black and white.
1. First, open the image in Photoshop.

2. Then create a duplicate layer and hide the original layer. To create a duplicate layer right click on the original layer in the layers panel and select duplicate layer.
3. Now, while the background copy is selected, click on the new fill or adjustment layer button and select Hue and Saturation.

3. On the left there should be a Saturation Slider. Go ahead and adjust the saturation to the level of Black and White that you prefer.
4. Then, you will select the Layer Mask on the Hue and Saturation adjustment.

5. While in the layer mask, you will select your brush tool and make sure that you are using a black color. Paint over the area of the image that you want to be in color on the photo.
As you can see in the image below, part of it is more saturated than the other. If you happen to mess up, like I did in this image, select a white for your paint brush and go back over the areas that you want hidden again.

6. Once you are happy with the areas you have made colored, feel free to save the image.
